All religions\, all gender identities\, all races\, all shapes and sizes\, all sexual orientations\, all abilities and disabilities\, all languages\, and all ages\, we welcome all! \nWhat is Conscious Movement Practice/ Ecstatic Dance?\nConscious Movement Practice is a unique style of dance that is all about free expression and letting your body move to the beat of your own drum. Unlike traditional dance classes\, there’s no choreography to follow or steps to learn. Instead\, it’s all about letting go and allowing the music to guide you\, enabling authentic movement exploration. Conscious Movement Practice has been demonstrated to help with stress and anxiety reduction\, promoting alignment of mind\, body\, soul\, and spirit. During a Conscious Movement Practice session\, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for movement and self-exploration. Everyone\, regardless of their dance experience\, is welcome to participate and enjoy the fun. \nHere’s some extra information:\n\nNo experience is required\nBring your water bottle\nWear movement-friendly clothing\, preferably in layers\nWheelchair-accessible space\nThe space is drug-free\, substance-free\, scent-free\, and judgment-free\, and all participants are expected to respect themselves and one another\nPlease share the space respectfully and check in before hugging or touching another dancer\, this is a consent-based practice\nThe dance floor is a nonverbal space\, If you need to have a conversation\, however brief\, please step outside\nNo street shoes on the dance floor\nPlease do not attend if you feel unwell or have any flu-related symptoms.\nPlease turn off your cell phone and put it away for the duration of the event\n\n\nRefund Policy\n\nContact the organizer to request a refund.\nEventbrite’s fee is nonrefundable. Follow Hassti Hamidi on EventBrite for event details and future event listings.
