DESCRIPTION:In this weekend series\, you will explore your inner world through practice\, movement and reflection. \n\n\n\n\nIn this workshop series\, you will explore your inner world through practice\, movement and reflection. You are welcome to join one\, two or all three offerings. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal. \nLocation: Bridge and Enrich Lives Society\, 718 East 20th Avenue (Fraser and 20th) \nThere is lots of free street parking and it’s easily reachable by bus \nGrounding \nFriday May 22nd\, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. \nWe are born on this Earth to live fully. How can we respect our home–the natural world around us\, our bodies and our potential for growth? In this workshop\, we will honour Divine Mother as manifestation\, and explore where we are\, how we find meaning and what we want to grow toward. \nIncludes movement\, spiritual practice and reflection. \nCentering \nSaturday May 23rd\, 1 – 4 p.m. \nIn an unbalanced world\, how do we find balance? Is there a way back to centre? In the kundalini system the Heart chakra is at the centre of our being\, an unfolding source of compassion and a fire that burns away obstacles when we face ourselves courageously. \nJoin with others to approach the sacred within through movement\, self-inquiry and spiritual practice. \nElevating \nSunday\, May 24th 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. \nAt this time when we are witness to so much suffering\, where do we turn for inspiration? Let’s seek refuge within to support renewal and create space for generosity. She became a student of Swami Radha’s in 1979 and a teacher in this tradition in 1982. She had the privilege of living and working with Swami Radha for eight years and also experienced the mentorship of Swami Radhananda for many years. She has a background in counseling psychology. \nSwami Lalitananda loves welcoming people to the teachings that have brought so much joy and meaning to her own life. She is committed to passing this lineage to others who are committed to self-inquiry\, spiritual practices and to the challenge of learning to live together in harmony—in community and in the world.
