As we come to know ourselves in this authentic way\, our eyes open to how deeply interconnected we are to all of life. To harm another is to harm ourselves. As long as others are suffering\, we too suffer. Broadening our view leads to a qualitative difference in how we live our lives\, knowing how deeply entwined we are. During this meditation weekend\, we will experience the truth of interconnectedness through awareness and compassion practice\, teachings\, and discussion\, so that we may live from this place of a wise and compassionate heart. \nAs well\, we will explore how meditation can help us understand our interdependence. \nThis retreat is suitable for all meditators and a great support for those who have done any of the Path of Liberation or Joy of Living courses. \nCancellation Policy: Attendees will receive full refunds up to September 23; after that we will retain the admin fee of $25.\nContact: vancouver@tergar.org\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Instructor\nMyoshin Kelley attended her first meditation retreat in 1975 at the age of 20. Through the ensuing years she has received dharma instructions from several renowned Buddhist meditation masters in the Theravada\, Zen\, and Vajrayana traditions. In 1994 she accompanied her husband\, Edwin\, to the Insight Meditation Society (IMS) in Barre\, MA\, where she was trained as a meditation teacher by Joseph Goldstein and Sharon Salzburg. She was the inaugural resident teacher at the long term practice center at the Forest Refuge. Myoshin was introduced to Vajrayana teachings in 1993 and met Mingyur Rinpoche in 1998. She moved to Minneapolis in 2010 to help support Mingyur Rinpoche in his worldwide vision and leads programs internationally. \nREGISTER HERE
