Hassti Hamidi, also known as DJ Existence, is a music curator of Iranian Canadian descent, with roots in Tehran, Iran, where she was born and raised in a family that shared her passion for music. Growing up, traditional Iranian music was an integral part of her life, but she was introduced to rock and alternative rock music as a teenager and developed a deep love for iconic bands such as Pink Floyd and The Doors. Music has been a guiding force throughout her life, connecting her with people from all walks of life. Curating music has been her passion since her early teenage years, when she would create selections on cassette tapes as gifts for her friends and family.
