Hatha Yoga

Join Sue for this 12 week series of Hatha Yoga @ Bridge and Enrich Lives (Fraser and 20th).
 
We’ll practice traditional asana using the universal alignment principles as outlined in Anusara Yoga (Iyengar-based tradition).  Learn how to open to grace, use loops and spirals, engage organic and muscular energy to release physical tension, build strength, and create lasting openness.
 
This class is suitable for all levels and is slow paced.  Variations will be provided for beginner and advanced students.
 
Sue has been teaching yoga full time for 15 years and enjoys offering creative sequences that offer physical exploration, spiritual inquiry, and mental rest.  Each class finishes with a 10 minute mediation and relaxation period.

GIVE AND RECEIVE: A Thai Massage and Partner Yoga Weekend Intensive

Come and learn a Thai Massage sequence that you can practice with a friend. Therapeutic consensual bodywork is a great way to enjoy more connection to others, and to improve your skills in giving and receiving. We will be working with partners but also individually throughout the weekend. Some yoga experience is an asset, but beginners are welcome. Please bring a large mat to work on.

Cost: $180 per person before April 1st, $220 after

Includes: 7:00 — 9:00 pm Friday night partner yoga warm-up
9:00 am — 4:30 pm Saturday, Sunday 9:00 am — 12:00 pm Thai Massage Training

Facilitator: Susan Horning is a talented and kind-hearted yoga teacher who enjoys helping people stay connected to one another. She is a certified and experienced trainer in Northern-style Thai Massage, partner and AcroYoga, Join for the weekend and experience the true joy that arises from authentic connections, skillful bodywork and good company.
